Katy ISD Board Vice President Elected to Texas Association of School Boards
Bill Lacy, an exceptional Katy resident and the Vice President of Katy Independent School District Board of Trustees, has been elected to serve on the Texas Association of School Boards. Lacy has been a Katy resident for 21 years and has been heavily involved in his community. This new position on the State Association Board is one that Lacy does not take lightly, which makes him an excellent choice to represent Katy ISD on the state level.
Bill Lacy has served on the Katy ISD Board of Trustees since 2017 and works as a “senior loan officer in the mortgage banking profession.” Lacy’s children are Katy ISD graduates from Taylor High School, Cinco Ranch High School and Young Ranch’s very own Katy High School, so Lacy is very aware with any struggles the students may be experiencing. This personal involvement in the school district along with his connection with the community makes Lacy a top pick for Katy ISD in the Texas Association of School Boards. The Young Ranch community is excited to watch Katy ISD’s progress to come and support Lacy in this new position.
