Double Steak Competition and Kids Que at the Wildcatter Saloon

On June 19th, Patient Housing Assistance and the Wildcatter Saloon in Katy will be hosting a legendary Steak and Bacon Cookoff and Kids Que. Bring the entire family for a fun day of cooking some of the best steak and bacon cooking in the state, along with a kids que!

What could be better? The event is going toward a great cause.

Patient Housing Assistance (PHA) is a Houston-based, non-profit organization that is committed to providing financial aid to patients that are traveling to Texas Medical Center. The organization was founded after identifying the need for patients who couldn’t afford the financial burdens of both their treatment and the additional cost of housing. Their mission is to help offset the cost of patient housing expenses, so patients can focus on their recovery without the strain of housing costs.

Live music for the event will start at 11:30 AM, and general admission tickets are only $5. Visit the event page here to purchase your general admission tickets, and if you want to register for the Double Steak Cookoff, visit
