Social Pub & Grill Coming To Katy

Grab the whole family, dog too and try the soon-to-open, Social Pub & Grill at 1721 Spring Green Blvd., Ste. 700, Katy. The independent restaurant will serve dishes including chicken, steak, cocktails, beer and “stuffed burgers.” The burgers are cooked with toppings inside the patty.

Toasted Yolk Cafe Opening New Location

The Toasted Yolk Café will open a new 4,500-square-foot location in the Shoppes at Grand Crossing in Katy, near the southwest corner of I-10 and the Grand Parkway. The breakfast and lunch restaurant is expected to open by early December.

New Fire Station Underway

Construction has begun for the Katy’s second fire station to better serve the city’s southern portion.Officials broke ground at 25420 Bell Patna Drive, Katy, on Wednesday morning.

Kay's Tea Parlour is Open After Storm

Kay’s Tea Parlour reopened recently after closing due to Hurricane Harvey. Located near City Hall at 5617 Second St., Katy, the restaurant is a traditional European tea parlor serving black, red and green teas as well as quiches, shepherd’s pie, sandwiches, desserts and other items.
